The spotted skunk is the smallest. Skunks are omnivores. They eat plants and meat. The hog nosed skunk uses its nose to look for food. Skunks are not endangered. Sometimes they carry rabies. Rabies is a disease. Skunks spray a liquid called musk. A skunk can spray musk fifteen feet away.
